O Direito Linguístico na BNCC da Língua Portuguesa
Keywords:
Linguistic rights, Linguistic duties, National Curricular Common Base; Brazilian Portuguese teaching, Basic educationAbstract
This article aims to present some aspects on the way linguistic rights and linguistic duties are presented in the National Curricular Common Base - BNCC. The work assumes that linguistic rights and linguistic duties belong to the field of Linguistic Law and are directly related to the public policies area, including the articulation between educational policies and language policies. On the one hand, the study analyzes the formal recognition of the existence of these rights in the Base’s text; on the other hand, the text indicates the knowledge of legal texts and its linguistic structure as a linguistic duty. Affiliated to the articulation between Materialist Discourse Analysis and the History of Linguistic Ideas in Brazil, the article presents elements for theoretical and practical work on the issues that emerge concerning linguistic rights and linguistic duties as they appear in the BNCC, mainly considering language teaching both in basic education and the training of Portuguese language teachers.
