Abstract

“Crônicas de minha passagem” and “Casa que já foste minha”, written by Maria Lúcia Medeiros, are the tales here analyzed, emphasizing how the author transfers to the character-narrator the main moments of her path, which turns her tales into a possibility of an autobiographical encounter. The tale “Crônicas de minha passagem” is about a memory experienced during her childhood, filled with contexts that highlights the character-narrator infancy. As for the tale “Casa que já foste minha”, it shows a more mature memory from a not-too-distant past. Therefore, what is proposed in here, from the literary texts by Maria Lúcia Medeiros, is to make a route of autobiographical traces from memories inside the tales.
